In Tamil Nadu, four of the six people undergoing treatment for H1N1 in Coimbatore Medical College in Tamil Nadu were tested positive. All of them were admitted in the quarantine ward of the hospital.Meanwhile, a female child undergoing treatment was discharged yesterday. Dr. Senthil Kumar, Joint Director of Health Services told our Correspondent that all the patients are responding to the treatment and their condition is improving well. He said that the H1N1 screening centers started functioning at Coimbatore airport and railway station today. He called upon the people not to be panic and said that the awareness campaigns will be started soon in the infection prone areas. Dr. Kumar said that there is sufficient stock of H1N1 vaccines available with the Health Department.
