In Maharashtra, three people lost their lives and several others were injured when a tanker exploded before plunging into a river near Pimpalner town on the outskirts of Dhule last night.AIR Correspondent from Dhule reports that the mishap occurred at around 9pm when the tanker hit an electric pole on a bridge, skidded and exploded before falling into Panzara River. The fire was doused at around 2 am. According to the police, the death toll is likely to increase further. Several nearby vehicles including 2 cars, four auto-rickshaws, one truck and two motorcycles, besides several shops caught fire following the explosion. The injured are being treated at nearby civic and private hospitals.
