In Assam, four persons died on the spot in a road mishap at Pukia on the National Highway Number 52 in Dhemaji district this morning. The incident occurred when a speeding private car lost its control and fell into a roadside pond. The victims include an Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department and two women. One seriously injured person has been admitted to Dhemaji Civil Hospital.
