A powerful explosion occurred near the office of an intelligence agency in the central Pakistani city of Faisalabad, killing at least four persons and injuring nearly 50 others. The blast destroyed dozens of cars, a CNG station and at least three buildings near the intelligence agency's office in the Civil Lines area of Faisalabad. Several people were feared to be buried in the rubble of buildings that collapsed due to the explosion. Officials said they were trying to determine whether the blast was caused by the accidental explosion of CNG cylinders at the station or a bomb.
