In China, an explosion at Fenghuangling Coal Mine of Zhanhe District in Henan Province in central China yesterday left at least four people dead, four buried under debris and thirty four others injured. Rescuers are still trying to ascertain whether any workers have been trapped below ground by the explosion. Work safety authorities said rescue work was continuing.
