In Jharkhand, four policemen are reported killed as the Maoists triggered a landmine blast. Speaking to AIR correspondent, government officials said that the blast occurred near Bargarh Panchayat under Bhandaria police station in Garhwa district. Confirmation of exact number of casualties and details of the event are awaited as the encounter is still going on between the Maoists and the police force.
