4 Indians short-listed for this year�s ICC Awards

<br/>To keep the 2nd World Cup Kabaddi Tournament dope free, the five member Dope Control Committee working in coordination with National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) has so far taken 84 samples of various players from different countries. Out of which, 12 have been found positive. Most of the dope positive cases are from Pool-A teams. The tournament is on in Punjab.<br/><br/>Quoting the Convener of Dope Control Committee, Dr. Munish Chander, AIR Correspondent Rajesh Bali reports that out of these twelve cases, one each belongs to Pool-B teams of US, Spain, Argentina and Italy.<br/><br/>Whereas, eight cases are from Pool-A teams including three each from Australia and Canada and one each from Germany and UK.<br/><br/>These players have been suspended.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, in today's first match, Afghanistan has defeated Nepal by a close margin of 48-41.<br/><br/>This is the first win for Afghanistan whereas Nepal has lost all its matches played till today.<br/><br/>In the second match at Patiala, India beat United Kingdom, 58-22. The third match will be played later tonight between Australia and Germany. <br/><br/>In tomorrow's fixtures of Pool-B matches in Kapurthala, Norway will take on Sri Lanka, Pakistan will face Argentina and Italy will clash with Spain.
