Iran qualified for the second round of the AFC Under 19 women's championships to be held in Malaysia by emerging as Group B champions in the qualifying tournament played at Dhaka. <br/>The Iranian team defeated Jordan 3-2 in their third and last league encounter played at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city on Friday evening. With this win Iran gained a maximum of nine points from three matches to finish on top of the group and book a berth in the second round. <br/>The Indian team, which lost their opening match against Iran, could only manage to finish second with two wins against Jordan and hosts Bangladesh who they defeated by a score of 6-0 victory in their last league match played on Friday. <br/>The Iranian girl's team celebrated their qualification for the second round with a victory lap with their national flag around the stadium. The second round of qualifiers will be held from October 21 to 30 in Kuala Lumpur.<br/>
