4 Indians short-listed for this year�s ICC Awards

In Bangladesh, the Indian team began their campaign in the Group B, AFC Under-19 Women's Football Championship on a disappointing note by losing their opening match against Iran. <br/><br/>The Iranians outclassed the Indian team 4-2 in the first match of the qualifying round which was inaugurated today afternoon at the Bir Shreshtha Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka. <br/><br/>The other two teams which are competing for a berth in the second round are Jordan and hosts Bangladesh. The tournament was inaugurated by Bangladesh Football Federation President Kazi Salahuddin. <br/><br/>The four teams will take on each other in the round robin league system and the top team will advance to the second round. The second round of qualifiers will be held from October 21 to 30 in Kuala Lumpur.
