He won the gold medal in his debut appearance at the National Boxing Championships in 2017. Amit Panghal was born on 16 October 1995 in Mayna village of Rohtak district, Haryana. His father, Vijender Singh Panghal, who is a farmer, said that he has taken every possible step to help Amit to become a successful boxer.</span><br />
