In the 49th National Open Athletics Championship being held in Bhopal Rani Yadav of Uttar Pradesh bagged the gold medal in women's 20 km walk. <br/><br/>She covered the distance in one hour 44 minutes and 37 seconds outclassing her competitors. Sandhya K J of Police came second and L Deepmala of Railways third. Vinod P J of Kerala bagged gold in men's Decathlon. Railways Ramnivas got silver and Kerala's Raneesh bronze. <br/><br/>In women's Shot Put, Railways Manpreet Kaur got gold, Haryana's Seema Antil silver and Saroj Sihag of Police bronze. Railways is still leading in the medal tally with 8 gold, 9 silver and 5 bronze. Services is second with three gold and Kerala third with two gold. <br/> <br/>
