The Queen's Baton relay, symbolizing the Commonwealth Games, is being held in Raipur in Chhattisgarh this afternoon. The rally will start from the Sahid Bhagat Singh chowk in the capital with the Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh handing over the Baton to the runners. A large number of sports enthusiasts along with the common public are participating in the rally. <br/>Earlier in the day a special plantation program was organized in the precints of the Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University to commemorate the Queen's Baton Relay in Raipur. Later addressing a press conference in the capital, Ms. Lata Usendi, minister of youth affairs and sports in the Chhattisgarh government expressed the hope that the Queen's Baton Relay in Raipur will leave a long lasting impression in the public memory.<br/>
