4 Indians short-listed for this year�s ICC Awards

Bangladesh government has decided to set up a National Security Committee headed by the Home Minister to ensure foolproof security during next year's ICC Cricket World Cup which the country will be co-hosting along with India and Sri Lanka. The decision to form the committee was taken during a meeting of all security agencies of the country and officials of the Bangladesh Cricket Board in Dhaka which was chaired by the Home minister Sahara Khatun. <br/> <br/>Taking to reporters after the meeting, Sahara Khatun said the government will provide all necessary equipment and logistical support needed to ensure maximum security. She said the National Security Committee will be constituted with senior officials of law enforcing and intelligence agencies, BCB officials and other relevant personalities. <br/> <br/>Bangladesh will be hosting 8 games which, includes the opening match between Bangladesh and India and two quarter final matches. In addition to this the opening ceremony of the tournament will be held in Dhaka with Bangladesh Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina scheduled to inaugurate the tournament on February 17th next year. <br/> <br/>Bangladesh Cricket Board President AFM Mostafa Kamal expressed confidence that preparations are on track and the tournament will pass of smoothly as Bangladesh has gained a lot of experience in organising big sporting events like the South Asian Games in February this year.<br/> <br/><br/>
