Gujarat Assembly will start giving 'Best MLA' award for MLAs starting from the year 2019. <br />'' <br />'' Speaker Rajendra Trivedi has made this announcement in the State Assembly today. <br />'' <br />'' The award will be in the lines of Outstanding Parliamentarian Award given to Members of Parliament and Best MLA awards being given in some other states. <br />'' <br />'' The Speaker said that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had suggested launching Best Legislator Award in all states at a conference recently held at Lucknow. <br />'' <br />'' Mr Trivedi said that the selection committee and standards for Best MLA Award will be worked out in due course.<br />''
