Former captain and West Indies Cricket Board selection committee chairman Clive Lloyd has apologised for the Caribbean team's unprecedented move to pull out of remainder of India tour in the wake of an acrimonious pay dispute with the Board. Addressing a cricket conclave organised by a TV channel, he said it was a mistake on the part of players to have left the tour in between. Llyod hoped that this will not affect future relations and said Caribbeans have great affection and love for Indian people.
