The $8million DP World Tour Golf Championship began at Jumeirah Golf states in Dubai today. Top Golfers including the defending champion Rory Mcllroy, last year's runners up Justine Rose along with Graeme Mc Dowell and Ian Poulter are among the favorites to win the title this year. The day one of the championship ended on a not so satisfying note for the defending champion Mcllroy. He began in style as he reeled off three birdies in his opening four holes but failed to latch on to it subsequently and a run of nine pars concluded with a bogey on 18. In all 56 top European golfers are vying for top honors at the season ending event. Justin Rose has been in the top form this season and is being seen as hot contender for the title this time.
