4 Indians short-listed for this year�s ICC Awards

A two day long FINA Swimming World Cup Championship began at Sheikh Hamadan Sports Complex in Dubai today. More than 200 swimmers from 41 countries are taking part in the event. Spotlight is on London Olympics Gold Medallist and World Champion Chad Le Clos of South Africa among men and reigning World number one and World Cup Champion Katinka Hosszu among women. In the men's section an exciting battle is on the cards with Chad Le Clos of South Africa and Osama Mellouli of Tunisia leading the pack. The Dubai competition is the fourth leg of the eight-leg World Cup series, which began in August in Eindhoven in the Netherlands. From Dubai ,the competition will move to on to Doha, Singapore, and Tokyo, with the final event in Beijing on November 13-14. The Swimming World Cup is contested in a 25m pool and has both men and women vying for prize money in each of the 36 events. The overall top scorer in the men's and women's section at the end of the series will win $100,000.<br/>
