Maharashtra's sports minister Padmakar Walvi today said that Pune was fully prepared and decked up to host the 20th Asian Athletics Championships scheduled from 3rd to 7th July. Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Walvi informed that the state government will spend Rs 18 crore on the championship. He said that all the facilities have been spruced up and the facilities at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi have been upgraded to five-star levels.
