4 Indians short-listed for this years ICC Awards

South Africa has replaced England as the World's Number One Cricket team. The feat was achieved after its 2-0 victory over England in the three match series which ended at Lord's Cricket Ground in London on Monday. England had been the top team in the ICC Test Cricket Championship table since August 2011 when it dethroned India.

The Proteans have assumed the number one spot for the first time since November 2009. In the latest ICC test rankings released today, South Africa is at the top with 120 points. It is followed by England, Australia and Pakistan. India has been pushed to fifth position not having test series for quite some time. Srilanka's Kumar Sangakkara is the number one batsman while protean paceman Dale Steyn leads the list of top bowlers.

His team Philander jumps to second spot with his sterling performance in the just concluded England South Africa test series. India's Sachin Tendulkar is at number 10 among the batsmen while Zaheer Khan remains at number 12.
