4 Indians short-listed for this year�s ICC Awards

India's Leander Paes and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek have waltzed into the semi-finals of the Men's Doubles category in the Miami Open Tennis tournament at Florida. In the quarterfinals today, the seventh seeded Indo-Czech pair defeated the Spanish duo of David Marrero and Fernando Verdasco in straight sets, 7-6, 6-4. The Indo-Czech duo will now face America's top seeded Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike, for a place in the finals.<br/><br/>On Wednesday, the Indian duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna had also advanced into the Men's Doubles semi-finals, after beating the higher seeded French-Serbian combine of Michael Llodra and Nenad Zimonjic, 2-6, 6-3, 10-8. For a finals berth, the sixth seeded Indian duo will play the Belarusian-Canadian combine of Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, in Women's Singles category, the top seeded Belarusian Victoria Azarenka has made a shock exit from the tournament. Azarenka was stunned by Marion Bartoli of France, 6-3, 6-3 in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.<br/>In the Men's Singles, Briton's Andy Murray has booked a semi-finals berth. Murray defeated Janko tipsarevic of Serbia, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
