4 Indians short-listed for this year�s ICC Awards

In the BNP Paribas Open Tennis, India's Sania Mirza and her Russian partner have waltzed into the semi-finals of the Women's Doubles category at the Indian Wells in California. <br/><br/>In the quarterfinals last night, the second seeded Indo-Russian pair brushed aside the Argentinean duo of Gisela Dulko and Paola Suarez in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. Sania and Elena will play the third seeded Czech pair of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecvka for a place in the finals.<br/><br/>Earlier, the Indo-Czech duo of Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek had stormed into the quarterfinals of the Men's Doubles section. <br/><br/>The Indo-Czech duo defeated the Argentinean-Japanese combine of Juan Monaco and Kei Nishikori 7-6, 6-4. In the quarterfinals, Paes and Stepanek will take on the Spanish duo of Rafael Nadal and Marc Lopez.<br/><br/>
