4 accused booked in Pollachi serial sexual violence case

<span style="color: #222222;">Four accused in serial sexual violence against women in Pollachi of Tamil Nadu have been booked under the Goondas Act. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The accused are said to have used social media platform Facebook to lure women into their trap for several years. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Police suspect, about a hundred women might have been affected by the heinous acts of the gang, and have secured explicit videos from their gadgets. The gang is alleged to have extracted money also from the victims. It has created a furore in the state.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the state police have transferred the case to CB-CID inquiry. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Opposition including DMK, CPM, CPI, MDMK and others have condemned the incident and have alleged that the gang had the protection of a few leaders of ruling AIADMK. </span><br />'' <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">However, the local strongman of the AIADMK, Pollachi Jayaraman has denied having any role in it. One of the accused in the case has been dismissed from the party by the AIADMK.</span><br />
