4.9 magnitude earth quake hits northern Iran, 10 people injured

A light 4 (point) 9 magnitude earthquake has injured 10 people in northern Iran. Iranian state TV said the pre-dawn temblor struck early today about some 600 kilometers, northwest of the capital, Tehran, with a depth of 6 kilometers. It said those hurt sustained only slight injuries. There were no reports of fatalities. The TV said there was some damage to buildings in Sharabian district.
