India are facing an innings defeat in the third Cricket Test against England at Edgbaston. Resuming at their overnight second innings score of 35 for One, they were 116 for Six at Lunch, on the fourth and penultimate day today. Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on 9 and Amit Mishra on 16 were at the crease. Overall, India still trail by 370 runs with just four second innings wickets in hand. Yesterday, England secured a first innings lead of 486 runs, when they declared at 710 for seven in reply to India's 224 all out. The scores so far: India 224 and 116 for 6. England – 710 for seven declared.
