3rd Test: England 114 for one against India

On the opening day of the third cricket test against India at Southampton, opting to bat after winning the toss, England were 114 for one in their first innings. For India, Pankaj Singh made his Test debut. He replaced speedster Ishant Sharma, who was ruled out owing to an ankle injury. Rohit Sharma also came into the side in place of Stuart Binny. India lead the five-match series One-Nil after winning the second Test at Lord's. The first Test at Nottingham had ended in a draw.The Teams for the on-going Test are:- India: Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Pankaj Singh and Mohammad Shami. England: Alastair Cook, Sam Robson, Gary Ballance, Ian Bell, Joe Root, Moeen Ali, Jos Buttler, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad, ChrisJordan and James Anderson.India lead the five-match series One-Nil.
