On the second day of the Budget Session of the Jharkhand Assembly, the third supplementary budget of 4981 crore rupees was passed amidst uproar by the Opposition party. However, through a cut motion brought on the third supplementary budget, BJP MLA Anant Ojha said that the amount of the previous two supplementary budgets could not be spent, hence there is no justification for bringing the third supplementary budget. Earlier, during the day State Finance Minister Dr Rameshwar Oraon presented the Economic Survey report today. Mr Oraon will also present the final budget of the present coalition government tomorrow for fiscal year 2024-25 during the Budget Session.
