The second phase of the 3rd round of talks between the Gujjar leaders and the Group of Ministers of Rajasthan Government has started in Jaipur. The 51-member delegation of Gujjar is negotiating with the Government on their demands. After this round of talks, the delegation will brief Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla about the outcome of today's talks. The first phase of the third round talks concluded late last night. The delegation held talks with the three-member group of Ministers of the State government to resolve the issue. After the meeting, Energy Minister Jitendra Singh told mediapersons that consensus has evolved on some demands including jobs to the family members of victims of previous Gujjar agitations and compensation to the injured. Gujjar leaders demanded to convene special session of the state assembly to discuss 5 percent reservation to Gujjar community. Meanwhile, the agitation seeking reservation for Gujjars in government jobs has entered the 15th day on Monday.
