3rd round of Commander-level talks between India, China ran into late hrs on tuesday in Leh

The third round of Commander-level talks between India and China in Tuesday ran into late hours at Chushul Border post in Leh. General Officer Commanding of Fire and Fury Corps Lieutenant General Harinder Singh and South Xinjiang Military Province Commander Major General Lin Liu had long talks running into late hours yesterday. <br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports that the third round of talks between two Army Commanders of Indian Army and People's Liberation Army were cordial and focused on the de-escalation of tensions along the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh.<br />'' <br />''Army Sources said that in the meeting at Chushul Border Post, along with existing friction points of Pangong Tso, Galwan Valley and Gogra hot springs, a new area Depsang near DBO, where increased PLA presence is noticed, was also discussed.<br />'' <br />''Both the commanders discussed at length the disengagement at all the friction points in Tuesday's meeting, with a focus on restoration of status quo ante of the troops with improvement in trust factors.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">On his return from Chushul talks, Lt. Gen. Harinder Singh briefed the senior Army officials in Delhi. On the other hand, Army and Air Force are in caution with the built-up by the PLA along the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh. Air Force has increased vigil and preparedness of the forces. </span>
