Sachin Tendulkar, who became the first player in the world to score a double century in ODI, would be rested along with dashing opener Virender Sehwag for the third and final ODI against Proteas to be played at Ahmedabad on 27th February. BCCI Selection Committee Chairman Krish Srikkanth told reporters that these players including Praveen Kumar were being rested. He said Abhishek Nayar has been dropped from the team for the third ODI.As India had already clinched the three-match ODI series, the squad was also pruned to 14 members with M Vijay, Rohit Sharma and Abhimanyu Mithun finding a place.Following is the team for the third ODI:M S Dhoni (capt), M Vijay, Dinesh Karthick, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, Ravindra Jadeja, Sudeep Tyagi, S Sreesanth, R Ashwin, Amit Mishra, Abhimanyu Mithun and Ashish Nehra.
