3rd ODI: India win by 2 wkts

Injury struck, Team India defeated South Africa by 2 wickets in the thrilling third one-day international cricket match which was played at Cape Town yesterday. Yusuf Pathan's commendable innings of 59 paired with Suresh Raina's fighting innings of 37 runs saw the visitors take a foot ahead in this 5-match ODI series. Their 75-run partnership for the sixth wicket helped India achieve the target of 221 with ten balls to spare. Yusuf Pathan was adjudged the man of the match. Electing to bat first, the Proteas managed to make 220 runs with debutant, Faf du Plessis scoring his first half century. He scored 60 with JP Duminy who scored 52 runs. Veteran, Zaheer Khan was the pick of the bowlers for India. He bagged 3 wickets while Munaf Patel and Harbhajan Singh took two wickets each. India now lead 2-1 in the series, which is their last before the World Cup. The fourth ODI will be played in Port Elizabeth on Friday.
