The 3rd Khelo India University Games will conclude on Saturday (3rd June 2023) evening. The Valedictory function will be held at the techno stadium pavilion ground of IIT BHU in Varanasi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Youth Affairs and sports minister Anurag Singh Thakur along with Minister of State for youth affairs and Sports Nishith Pramanik will take part in the concluding ceremony.

Meanwhile, the Punjab University  Chandigarh is on top of the medal tally of the third khelo India University games which started from 25th May at four cities of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Varanasi Gorakhpur and Gautam Budh Nagar.

Punjab University Chandigarh bagged total 56 medals including 24 gold, 12 silver and 20 bronze. The Guru Nanak Dev University of Amritsar is on 2nd place with total 52 medals including 17 gold, 24 silver and 11 bronze.

While the Jain University Karnataka is on 3rd place with a total of 29 medals including 15 gold, 9 silver and 5 bronze and Punjab University Patiala is on 4th place with a total of 29 medals including 12 gold, 10 silver and seven bronze.
