An amount of 45 thousand crore rupees is expected to be generated through auction of 3G spectrum. Several rounds of auction would be held for the purpose. The auction process has already started. <br/> <br/>Giving this information, in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, Communication and IT Minister Mr A Raja said the spectrum can not be sold to a third party. He denied any bungling in the allotment of 2G spectrum and assured the members of cooperation with the CBI in the enquiry process. <br/> <br/>Giving details of the guidelines for auction he said they were announced in August 2008 and the policy has been made effective from 1st of April 2009. <br/> <br/>This caters to both government and private sectors which has been prepared after taking all stake holders on board. <br/> <br/>The Minister informed that the document does not contain any security related information.<br/><br/>
