<span style="color: #222222;">3D printed shields that provides increased protection to doctors and health workers working to prevent and treat COVID-19 pandemic have been designed in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The design, formulated by Shri Ebin of Eachanari, a suburb of Coimbatore, has been accepted by the doctors of the Coimbatore ESI Hospital.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">2000, 3D shields are being used in the hospital. Moreover, the design has been given to 60 organizations in various parts of the country and efforts are on to produce 20,000 shields as soon as possible. The 3D printed shields, which are sold abroad at 10 dollars a piece, is being produced in India at the rate of Rs 30 to 40.</span><br />
