In Tamil Nadu, a total of 39 candidates are in the fray in the by-elections to Vandavasi and Tiruchendur assembly constituencies which goes to polls on the 19th of this month. 3 candidates withdrew their nominations in the two constituencies on the last day of withdrawal. 14 candidates are in the fray in Vandavasi while 25 are contesting in Tiruchendur constituency.<br/>
