About 450 boys and 300 girls from 26 states will participate in the 38th National Junior Swimming Championships that will begin in Bhopal on Friday. Organisers said on Thursday that a total of 80 events would take place during the championships. The event would be declared open by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Madhya Pradesh Swimming Association president Bhawani Shankar told this to reporters in Bhopal.Most teams for the championships have already arrived in the city and the remaining are expected to reach by Thursday evening, he added.
