388 fresh new COVID 19 cases were detected in the last 24 hours bringing the active cases to 3,979 in Meghalaya. Directorate of Health Services informed that six deaths were also reported, four from East Khasi Hills district and one each from Ri Bhoi district and South West Khasi Hills district taking the total fatalities to 945. The State also recorded 483 recoveries in the last 24 hours tallying the total recovered cases to 52,464.<br />'' <br />'' Till date, the total number of people vaccinated in the State have reached 8,96,613 out of which 7,76,911 people have received the first dose and 1,19,702 have received the second dose.<br />
