In the last 24 hours, 384 fresh new COVID 19 cases were reported in Meghalaya including 397 recoveries. Directorate of Health Services informed that 13 deaths were also registered bringing the total fatalities to 1,213. Nine deaths were from East Khasi Hills district and one each from Ri Bhoi, West Garo Hills, West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills districts. The total confirmed COVID 19 cases in the State stands at 71,045 out of which 4,513 are active while 65,319 are recovered. So far, the total number of people vaccinated have reached 12,06,329 of which 9,58,439 have received the first dose and 2,47,890 have received both doses.<br />''<br />
