Minister of state for Finance Jayant Sinha today said there are 3,785 women directors in listed companies of the country as on July 27th. Replying to supplementaries in the Lok Sabha, Mr Sinha said the government has not issued any directive to Securities and Exchange Board of India to ensure appointment of women directors on the companies boards.
