In Karnataka, during the last twenty four hours 378 new Covid -19 positive cases have been reported and the total positive cases in the State raised to 5213. In a single day today, 280 people have been discharged from various hospitals and so far 1,968 people are being discharged in the state. With two more deaths today the total death toll increased to 59 and 11,862 samples have been tested today in the state. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports, <span style="font-style: italic; text-decoration: underline;">t</span></span>he positive side however is that Chamrajanagar district remains as the only corona free district in the State.  For this achievement Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr.Harshavardhan called the Deputy Commissioner Dr. M.R.Ravi  over phone and appreciated the effort taken by the doctors, nurses and paramedical staffs to control the pandemic.  Chikmagaluru district too is free from infection after five people were discharged from the government hospital today.  Speaking to media the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Bagadi Gautham said that wearing mask,  using sanitizer and following social distancing has yielded positive results. <br />
