The 36th National Junior Badminton championship, to be held in Jaipur from Saturday, has attracted a record number of entries this time. It will be played in both U-17 and U-19 categories. The secretary of the Rajasthan Badminton Association, K K Sharma said it was the first time that the junior nationals will be hosting matches in under-17 and under-19 sections. Earlier the championship used to have only under-19 age group matches. The number of competitors has swelled to more than one thousand.
