In West Bengal peaceful voting is on in 9 Parliamentary seats covering four districts of the state.
The Chief Electoral Officer Sunil Gupta told AIR that around 35 percent of polling was recorded in first four hours of voting. No major untoward incident has so far been reported.
Few Electronic Voting Machines were replaced due to technical snags.
