In Uttar Pradesh, 36 people were killed and more than 20 been injured in a road accident in Badaun district last night. Police said, the accident occurred under Kotwali Ujhani police station area when a UP Roadways bus collided head on with a mini truck carrying passengers. AIR correspondent Sanjay Pratap reports that this tragic accident occurred on Badaun-Mathura road when the UP road ways bus and a mini truck collided head on. At least fifteen people were died on the spot while 21 other seriously injured died in district hospital and some criticall patient have also been reffered to Bareily . according to police the passengers who lost their lives were on the mini truck and they were retring from a cremations and most of them were resident of a local village. All injureds have been admitted in district hospital .meanwhile disrtic magistrate has announced the compensationsof rupees two lakh for the accident victims.
