35th IITF to begin today at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi

35th India International Trade Fair,IITF, will begin today at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. About 7,000 firms from India and abroad are participating in the fair, which will be inaugurated by President Pranab Mukherjee. The fortnight-long event has been divided into two segments-business days (November 14 to 18) and general public days (November 19 to 27). The theme of the fair this year is Make In India.<br/><br/>Organisers say they are expecting over one lakh people every day. Delhi Metro will start selling entry tickets for the business days from today to Wednesday, and for general public days, from November 19 to 27. Business day's tickets are also on sale online for the first time. Entry tickets for the general public days will be available at all Metro stations, except at Airport Express Line, where tickets will be available for the trade fair only at Dhaula Kuan station. Tickets for the business days, however, will be available only at 32 Metro stations. The tickets can be purchased from the customer care centres of the Metro stations between 9 am to 4 pm on all days. The business days' entry tickets are priced at 400 rupees, while the general days' tickets can be purchased at 50 rupees. On weekends, the general days' tickets will cost 80 rupees.
