In Goa, the Election Office has received as many as 35,655 applications during the special drive for enrollment of young and left out voters in the state held from the January 2 to 12. Chief Electoral Officer Mr. S. Kumarswamy said 21,173 forms have been received for inclusion of names in the electoral rolls while 6175 forms have been received for deletion of names from the rolls.Similarly, 6,698 voters have applied for inter constituency changes and 1609 voters have sought intra constituency changes. However, the CEO said that they could get only 4,408 youth in the age group of 18 to 19 years against the target to enroll nearly 15,000 young voters.
