The 350th birthday of tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh ji, was celebrated with religious zeal and gaiety across the country and at various places abroad. There was a heavy rush of devotees at the Harmandar Sahib, popularly known as the Golden Temple, in Amritsar as people offered prayers and took holy dips. Hymns were rendered at the holy shrine and hundered of other Gurudwaras across the region. <br/><br/>The whole Golden Temple complex has been illuminated for the past few days. Deepmala is also being done at Gurudwaras. 'Langars' were organised at all gurdwaras across Punjab and along major highways. People have also done lighting at their houses and fireworks is bieng launched by them. A large number of devotees from Punjab went to Patna in Bihar the birth place of Sri Guru Gobind singh Ji to offer prayers at the gurudwara Sri Harimandar Sahib.
