In Pakistan, at least 35 people have been killed and 100 others injured in a suicide blast in the southwest city of Quetta. According to local media reports, the blast took place this afternoon when a suicide bomber blew himself among a rally at the Meezan Chowk area of the city. The rally was organized to show the support for the Palestinian people. About 2,500 people took part in the rally.The blast triggered a stampede and at least four media people who were present to cover the rally were injured. Shortly after the blast, police have cordoned off the area. All the injured people have been shifted to nearby hospitals. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
