<br/>At least 35 people have died and 49 others reported missing after torrential downpours in the southern parts of China triggered heavy floods. <br/> <br/>Reports said more than 100,000 people have been evacuated from their homes to safer areas. <br/> <br/>Nearly 7,000 houses have been damaged and officials have put the financial loss due to floods at 120 million dollars. <br/> <br/>The provinces of Fujian and Sichuan, in China's southeast and southwest and the southern region of Guangxi are the hardest hit. <br/>
