In Manipur, repoll has been recommended in 33 polling stations of 11 Assembly constituencies in the five hill districts.Giving this information, State Joint Chief Electoral Officer N Praveen Singh told AIR Imphal correspondent today, that repoll has been recommended in these polling stations following large scale malpractices during Saturday’s polling for the Assembly elections.Of the 33 polling stations, nine are in Ukhrul district, eight each in Senapati and Chandel districts and four each in Tamenglong and Churachandpur districts. He said that several complaints have also been received for re-poll from political parties and candidates. These complaints are being examined.
