In Iraq, 33 people were killed and 35 others injured in a double bomb attack in the city of Taji, north of Baghdad today. Voice of Iraq news agency quoting security sources reports that two successive explosions by a booby-trapped car and an improved explosive device went off in the garage of the Municipal Council of north Baghdad’s Taji Township. Some of the injured remain in a serious condition. Authorities said that the attack began with a car bomb followed by a roadside bomb.
