<span style="color: #222222;">Across the country in various Indian Institute of Technology, IITs, 3230 number of faculty posts lying vacant. In a written reply in Rajya Sabha, the Minister of State for Education Dr. Subhas Sarkar said against sanctioned strength of Ten thousand and 88 faculty posts Six thousand 858 posts are filled in IITs. Similarly, he said, 403 faculty posts in Indian Institute of Management, IIMs, and 511 in IIITs are lying vacant.</span>
